We are 200 years old!
The first Methodist chapel in Leavening was opened in 1820. Click here to watch our anniversary service.
Leavening Church is now open for private prayer and reflection on Tuesday mornings and Sunday afternoons. Please observe social distancing and sanitise you hands at the door. We will extend these hours as soon as we can - try the door and if it is unlocked you are welcome to come in.
There are no printed parish magazines this quarter - click here to see
a pdf version.
Click here to see our most recent weekly thought - these thoughts are produced whilst we are unable to meet as usual every Sunday. See the events page for information about online services and other resources for home worship.
Whilst the church is closed, the box for food bank donations is located in the family room of the Jolly Farmers. The lower door to the pub is open most days, so you can go in there to get to the box.
